Pixelplace is a shared pixel canvas that anyone can paint on without an account. By painting, uploading a logo or otherwise using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. Painting on the canvas
Everyone gets a limited number of pixels per minute. Do not try to get around that limit with scripts, bots, multiple browsers, proxies or any automated tool. We may block access, reset areas of the canvas or remove content at any time, for any reason, without notice.
2. Content that is not allowed
The following is banned anywhere on the canvas, including inside sponsored areas. This list is deliberately specific, and it is not exhaustive:
- Sexual content: nudity, sexual acts, genitalia, pornographic imagery, and any sexual depiction of a minor (such material is reported to the authorities).
- Hate and extremism: swastikas and other Nazi or fascist symbols, KKK imagery, terrorist or extremist group logos, and slurs or imagery attacking people because of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, disability, illness, sex, gender identity or sexual orientation.
- Violence and gore: mutilation, dismemberment, severe injury, animal cruelty, executions, real corpses, self-harm or suicide imagery, and threats of violence against anyone.
- Harassment: targeting a private individual, doxxing (names, addresses, phone numbers, workplaces, ID or licence plate numbers), revenge imagery, and impersonation of a real person.
- Illegal and harmful material: drug sales, weapons or explosives sales, child abuse material, human trafficking, counterfeit goods, malware, phishing, scams, fraudulent crypto or investment schemes, and gambling promotions where they are unlawful.
- Deceptive material: fake news, medical misinformation, election disinformation, and content designed to imitate an official warning or notice.
- Content you have no right to use: other people's artwork, photographs, trademarks or brand logos used without permission.
- Anything advertising or linking to material of the kinds listed above, or to links that are malicious, misleading or unsafe.
3. Sponsored areas
A sponsored area places your image on the canvas and protects it from being painted over for 30 days from the moment it is placed. After that, the pixels stay where they are but anyone may paint over them.
You confirm that you own or are licensed to use every image, name and link you upload, and that they comply with section 2. Uploads are published immediately and are reviewed afterwards.
If a sponsored image, name or link breaks these terms, we will remove it, and any amount paid for it is not refunded. We may also remove a sponsored area for legal reasons, or on a valid rights-holder complaint, with the same no-refund outcome.
We do not guarantee a specific number of views, clicks, uptime or placement duration beyond the protection period, and we do not endorse any sponsor.
4. Payments and refunds
Where a price is shown, it is charged through our payment provider and may include taxes depending on your country. Placement is currently free while the feature is being tested. Refunds are not given for content removed under these terms, and are otherwise at our discretion.
5. Reporting content
If you see something that breaks these rules, or believe your rights have been infringed, contact us with the coordinates on the canvas and a short description so we can review it.
6. Changes and termination
We may change these terms, the pixel limits, the sponsorship packages or the site itself at any time, and we may suspend or end access to the site for anyone. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
